Bristol Street Motors Birmingham Ford Teams Up To Pedal For Macmillan

Colleagues from Bristol Street Motors Birmingham Ford, alongside other Ford dealership teams, are set to embark on a challenging 144-mile charity cycle along the Grand Union Canal, from London to Birmingham.

The formidable journey, starting at the Paddington Basin in London on 18th July, aims to raise £5,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support. The tough route finishes close to Spaghetti Junction in Birmingham, not too far away from the original Bristol Street Motors Ford dealership which opened 100 years ago.

The event is spearheaded by David Lee, General Manager of Bristol Street Motors Birmingham Ford, who is renowned for his dedication to charitable causes. David organises a charity event annually and has raised tens of thousands of pounds for good causes, having previously led successful climbs up Ben Nevis and Mount Snowdon, as well as a thrilling sky dive.

Speaking about the upcoming cycling challenge, David Lee said: "We are immensely proud to support Macmillan Cancer Support, we all know someone who has been affected by cancer and the work the charity does is incredible.

“This cycle challenge is not only a test of endurance and teamwork but also a fantastic opportunity to give back. We hope to inspire others to contribute to this worthy cause and help us reach our fundraising goal."

The cycle ride promises to be an exciting and rewarding endeavour, reflecting the strong community spirit and commitment to charity that Bristol Street Motors Birmingham Ford embodies.
