Macclesfield Sales Executive Secures National Honour

A Macclesfield-based sales executive has been recognised on a national stage after being named ‘Colleague of the Year’ in the Vauxhall and Citroen Division at the prestigious Vertu Masters Awards.

Josef Savage, who works at Vertu Vauxhall Macclesfield, received the accolade as part of the Group’s annual awards programme, which celebrates the achievements of its highest-performing non-management colleagues.

Now in its fifteenth year, the Vertu Masters Awards recognise excellence across the entire business, which makes Josef’s achievement particularly impressive.

Josef has made a significant impact at the dealership over the past three years, earning a reputation for his commitment to learning, strong performance and willingness to support those around him.

During a period of change within the sales team, he stepped up to take on additional responsibility, helping to coach and develop colleagues while continuing to deliver outstanding individual results.

His consistent performance has seen him achieve leading sales figures across the division, while also maintaining high standards in customer satisfaction and key performance measures.

Josef Savage said: "I am really proud to receive this award. I have learned a lot during my time here and enjoy pushing myself to improve every day. Supporting the team as well as focusing on my own performance has been important to me, and it is great to be recognised for that.

"We have a strong team here in Macclesfield and I am grateful to be part of it.”

Robert Forrester, Chief Executive of Vertu, said: "Josef’s achievement is a fantastic reflection of both his individual performance and his contribution to the wider team. Stepping up during a period of change and continuing to deliver at such a high level demonstrates real commitment and professionalism.

"The Vertu Masters Awards recognise colleagues who make a genuine difference to the business, and Josef’s drive, attitude and results make him a very worthy winner."
