Mazda Sheffield Dealership Relocates To New Site

Award-winning automotive retailer Vertu has strengthened its Mazda presence in Sheffield after relocating its dealership to a new site in the Steel City, creating a new home for Mazda customers alongside Vertu Nissan Sheffield.
Mazda Sheffield became part of the UK’s fourth-largest automotive group following the acquisition of Burrows Motor Company in 2024, and has continued to serve the needs of customers from a location on Penistone Road Trading Estate in Owlerton.
Mazda Sheffield has now relocated to Vertu’s existing site on Attercliffe Road in a move that creates a dual-branded operation alongside Vertu Nissan Sheffield, with colleagues working at Mazda Sheffield either relocating to the new site or moving into new positions elsewhere in the Group.
The move places Mazda Sheffield in a more centralised location, with convenient access for customers from across Sheffield and the wider South Yorkshire region.
Alongside the existing Nissan range, the new-look dealership will give customers the opportunity to experience Mazda’s latest model line-up, while also benefitting from an extensive range of used vehicles and enhanced facilities.
Comprehensive aftersales support will also be provided for both brands.
Jamie Priestley, the existing General Manager of Vertu Nissan Sheffield, will take on responsibility for both brands at the site.
Jamie Priestley said: "We're delighted to welcome Mazda Sheffield to its new home at Attercliffe Road, creating an enhanced environment for both existing and new Mazda customers.
“It’s an exciting time for this move to be taking place with the recent introduction of the award-winning Mazda6e and with the impending arrival of the Mazda CX-6e later in the year, both of which we expect to be hugely popular.
“We look forward to working with those colleagues who are moving over from the Penistone Road site, and with Mazda themselves, to ensure that customers from across Sheffield and the surrounding area continue to enjoy the highest levels of service when they pay us a visit.”
Robert Forrester, Chief Executive of Vertu, said: "This relocation reflects our ongoing commitment to Mazda, and to customers across Sheffield and the wider region.
"Mazda continues to introduce exciting new models to the market, and this move provides us with an excellent platform from which to showcase those models to our customers while maintaining the levels of service that they have come to expect.
"With familiar faces making the move to the new location, customers will continue to receive the same high standards of service, while benefitting from improved facilities in a more central and accessible location.
"The new site brings the strengths of both Mazda and Nissan together under one roof, providing more choice for our customers and creating a strong future for the dealership."
