Robert Forrester Shares His Thoughts On EV Sales And Charging Infrastructure
This week, Robert featured on BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Radio Berkshire to share his thoughts on recent comments from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) that people are being put off buying electric cars due to a lack of charging points.
The SMMT data shows that whilst the number of electric cars on Britain’s roads has grown 280% in the last two years, the number of standard charge points has only increased by 70%.
The Government has said it’s working with local authorities to support the rollout of public charge points.
