Vertu Brings Leapmotor To Crewe With Second New Dealership
Vertu has strengthened its new partnership with Leapmotor by opening its second UK dealership, which is now open for business in the North West.
Vertu Leapmotor Crewe will operate alongside Vertu Vauxhall Crewe on Macon Way, reflecting Leapmotor's strategy of positioning the brand alongside existing sites within the wider Stellantis retail network.
Leapmotor was introduced into Europe in 2024 after Stellantis formed a joint venture with the Chinese manufacturer to create Leapmotor International.
The opening of Vertu Leapmotor Crewe follows the launch of Vertu’s first Leapmotor dealership in Harrogate earlier this month, and shows the commitment of the UK’s fourth-largest automotive group to the ambitious new brand as it continues to expand.
Leapmotor launched its first models in the UK last year: the T03 all-electric city car that is one of the most affordable EVs currently on sale and the stylish family C10 SUV which provides a range of up to 263 miles.
The smaller B10 SUV and compact B05 hatchback have since been added to the line-up, giving buyers a choice of four all-electric models, with Leapmotor also offering range-extender hybrid versions of both the B10 and C10 for those not quite ready to make the switch to all-electric motoring.
The new models have made an immediate impact, with Leapmotor outselling established brands including Mazda and Honda in recent months, whilst recording the second-highest year-to-date market share growth of any manufacturer in the UK.
Colleagues working at the Crewe dealership will represent both the Leapmotor and Vauxhall brands, with customers able to choose from a full range of new and used vehicles whilst also benefiting from comprehensive aftersales support.
