Vertu Names Lucy DiClemente As Head Of Business At Nelson Land Rover Site

Vertu, the fourth-largest automotive retailer in the UK, has announced that Lucy DiClemente will take up the role of Head of Business at its Land Rover dealership in Nelson.
Lucy will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the dealership on Lomeshaye Business Park and will report directly to James Boyd, who recently took up the role of Market Area General Manager for Vertu’s Land Rover sites in the North West of England.
The announcement marks the next step in Lucy’s automotive career, and builds on more than a decade of experience working with the MINI brand.
Most recently based at Vertu MINI York in the role of Brand Manager, Lucy has built a strong reputation for delivering an outstanding customer experience while supporting the development and progression of colleagues.
During her time at the dealership, Lucy was named as Sales Manager of the Year at the annual Vertu Management Awards and played a key role in Vertu MINI York being recognised as Best Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) Retailer of the Year and Regional Retailer of the Year at the annual BMW Group UK awards – the latter for two years in a succession.
Lucy DiClemente said: “I’m delighted to be given the opportunity to take up the role of Head of Business at such an important dealership within the Group.
“This move comes at an exciting time for the dealership, with the arrival of JLR’s first fully electric model on the horizon, and I’m hopeful that my experience working at an award-winning BEV site will prove to be beneficial when the Range Rover Electric hits the showroom later this year.
“It has been a privilege to lead such a talented team at MINI York in recent years, and I’m now looking forward to not only working with my new colleagues at Nelson, but also to developing new relationships with another premium manufacturer.”
Robert Forrester, Chief Executive of Vertu Motors, said: “Lucy has played a pivotal role in the success of Vertu MINI York in recent years, and it’s fantastic to see her moving into her new role running Land Rover Nelson.
“She has consistently demonstrated the ability to build high-performing teams, deliver outstanding results and create a positive environment for both customers and colleagues. I have no doubt she will drive the dealership forward, and seize this opportunity with both hands.”
