Vertu Volkswagen Hereford promotes long-standing colleague
Hereford Audi and Vertu Volkswagen have promoted long-standing colleague, Clare Mallender, to the position of business development manager.
Clare, who has worked at both the Hereford Audi and Vertu Volkswagen (formerly South Hereford Garages) dealerships on Centurion Way for nearly 20 years, joined the management team after a long and successful career as a sales executive.
In her new role, Clare, who is from Hereford, will forge relationships with local businesses to help them meet their transport requirements and ensure they are getting the very best deals on commercial and retail vehicles.
Commenting on her promotion, Clare said: “I’m very pleased to be starting this new role as business development manager. During my time with the dealership as a sales executive, I have worked with leading local businesses so I am confident that this is a role in which I will excel.
“I’m from Hereford and my husband and I live here with our six year-old daughter, so I know lots of people within the city’s business community already and I’m looking forward to helping them to get the best value for money for their vehicle solutions.”

She has been an asset to the business for many years and has proved her worth time and time again.
