'Bright Day' at Mansfield Suzuki and Hyundai

'Bright Day' at Mansfield Suzuki and Hyundai

A Bristol Street Motors Suzuki and Hyundai dealership in Mansfield has helped to raise awareness of winter road safety as part of an initiative supported by actress and model, Jodie Kidd.

The Southwell Road West dealership joined together with the Mansfield Central Fire Brigade to highlight the importance of road safety, with colleagues dressed in bright fluorescent clothing and holding demonstrations throughout the day for members of the public.

Raising vital funds for the charity, the dealership offered winter checks for a reduced price with £5 from each check donated to the road safety charity Brake. The charity, dependent on volunteer support, donations and fundraising, works to end road traffic accidents, make communities safer and care for those affected by road death and injury.

The Suzuki and Hyundai dealership in Mansfield held the ‘Bright Day’ to support a Suzuki initiative to increase road safety.

Derrol Witts, General Manager at Suzuki and Hyundai in Mansfield, said: “We have all had a lot of fun promoting road safety here at the dealership. The ‘Bright Day’ and demonstrations have gone a long way towards attracting people’s attention and making them more aware of the dangers. Coping safely with the winter weather is a serious issue, and we are really grateful to the fire brigade for assisting us.

“Winter checks are available at all local Bristol Street Motors dealerships and go a long way towards preventing accidents and improving reliability. It has been a really great experience using the dealership to raise money for Brake, a charity that works hard to support those affected by similar issues.”
