Gary Bowers, a dedicated Glasgow taxi driver, has achieved an extraordinary feat in the electric driven vehicle since first picking up the keys in 2018. This remarkable accomplishment underscores the exceptional durability and reliability of the TX.
Gary’s impressive mileage even exceeds the maximum distance reached by NASA’s Orion spacecraft (268,553 miles). His LEVC TX, purchased in 2018 when the model first hit the market, has become a testament to the vehicle’s robustness and suitability for intensive use.
Gary’s TX is kept running virtually 24/7, with a partner using the taxi at night to ensure it delivers the greatest value for money. One break in the early morning and another in the evening give them ample time to charge, ensuring they can benefit from the cheap and eco-friendly electric power to the greatest extent possible.
