Hamilton Motor Retail Colleague Named As Mazda 'All Star'

Vertu Mazda Hamilton’s Service Manager, John Murdoch, has been honoured with a Special Recognition award at Mazda UK’s annual All Stars ceremony, celebrating the strongest performers across the brand’s UK retail network.
Having been associated with the Mazda brand for more than 16 years, John was recognised for building a successful team, maintaining a positive attitude and delivering strong levels of customer satisfaction.
Regarded as a true brand ambassador for both Mazda and Vertu, John’s consistent leadership, strong service results and the steady improvements achieved by the Hamilton dealership over the past year were key to his award success.
Now in its seventh year, the Mazda All Stars Awards recognise the top 25 dealerships in the annual Sales and Aftersales leagues, alongside leading performers in Fleet and Used Cars, while also celebrating a select group of ‘star performers’ nominated for outstanding individual contribution.
With a UK network of 114 dealerships, a number of which are operated by Vertu, Mazda measures performance across categories including customer satisfaction, renewals and service loyalty.
John Murdoch, Service Manager at Vertu Mazda Hamilton, said: “You don’t get to moments like this on your own. The team in Hamilton has been grafting day in, day out, and this gives everyone a real lift.
“We’ve worked hard on doing things properly and treating customers well, and it’s encouraging to see that being noticed at a national level.”
Robert Forrester, Chief Executive of Vertu Motors, said: “John is one of those leaders who quietly moves the bar higher every year. The atmosphere in his service department reflects that: calm, professional, and focused on doing the right thing for customers.
“Recognition from Mazda UK is very well deserved.”
