New General Manager for Bristol Street Motors Volvo
A retail professional with 17 years’ experience in the motor trade has been appointed as General Manager at Bristol Street Motors Volvo.
The dealership, which is located in Sir Frank Whittle Way, will be led by Marc Robinson, 39, who has previously overseen three other car dealerships in the city - Bristol Street Motors Citroen, Fiat and Renault-Dacia.
The appointment comes as the dealership changes its name from Volvo Cars Derby to Bristol Street Motors Volvo.
Marc, from Derby, will be heading up the team of 12 and is set to strengthen the sales team with a new appointment.
He said: “The new car market in the UK remains extremely strong, with consumer confidence in this area remaining robust and sales growing, a trend which is evident across our UK dealerships. We’ve seen this reflected in Derby, with impressive sales of 14 plates across the dealership’s full range.
“We have a strong and established team here in both sales and after-sales, along with a loyal customer base that I’m really looking forward to consolidating and building. I plan to ensure the level of already excellent customer service remains exemplary and that we continue to go the extra mile for our customers.”
