North East Automotive Professional Earns Prestigious Award Recognition
A North East motor retail professional is being celebrated for his outstanding performance after securing a prestigious accolade from the fourth largest automotive retailer in the UK, Vertu.
Nick Chisnall - Internet Sales Manager at Vertu’s headquarters in Team Valley, Gateshead - was recognised as Central Services Manager of the Year at the annual Vertu Management Awards.
The awards celebrate those who have made an outstanding contribution to the ongoing success of the retailer, which operates an expansive network of nearly 200 sales outlets across the UK and represents more than 20 of the world’s top manufacturers.
Nominated for the award by Group Sales Director Steve Rowe, Nick was praised for his leadership of the Internet Admin and Internet Sales Teams, both of which continually deliver industry leading levels of performance.
Last year, he also took on additional responsibility for Motability and Used Vehicle Warranty teams.
Nick’s professional approach to every task, and his consistent representation of the Vertu brand to the highest standards, were also celebrated.
Nick Chisnall said: “Receiving this award is a proud moment in my career, especially as the nomination has come from a senior member of the management team in recognition of my work.
“It’s also a reflection of the efforts of the whole Internet Sales team, and I’m both delighted and honoured to lead such a fantastic group of people.”
