Nottingham Accountant Recognised With Prestigious Award

Vertu Motors plc has honoured exceptional colleagues who have demonstrated exemplary leadership and performance throughout the year with its prestigious 2024 CEO Management Awards.

Among this year’s standout achievers is Nottingham-based Paul Aizlewood, who has been named Bill Teasdale Accountant of the Year, named in honour of Founding Director Bill Teasdale.

Paul, who works at Vertu Volkswagen Nottingham, has shown outstanding leadership by successfully managing five sets of accounts and running an accounting hub. His support for the management team and commitment to maintaining clean balance sheets have set him apart as a true professional.

The awards, which celebrate individuals who excel in their roles while championing Vertu’s core values, are highly coveted across the company. Nominations are made by the CEO Committee and senior directors at the support centre to ensure only the most deserving colleagues are recognised.

Robert Forrester, Chief Executive of Vertu Motors plc, praised Paul’s remarkable contributions, saying: "Paul’s leadership, dedication, and attention to detail are outstanding. His ability to manage complex accounting operations while supporting his team has made him an invaluable asset to our Nottingham business and to Vertu as a whole."

The CEO Management Awards reflect Vertu’s ongoing commitment to recognising and celebrating the exceptional talent and hard work of its colleagues across the UK.
